HOW TO BUILD A TIME MACHINE
Directed by Jay Cheel
FILM SUBJECTS IN ATTENDANCE – A stop motion animator and a theoretical physicist share a fixation on the possibility of conquering time, each finding inspiration in H.G. Wells’ 1895 novel “The Time Machine”. Filmmaker Jay Cheel crafts an entertaining and beautifully shot exploration of how each man looks to science fiction as salve for personal tragedies that time alone hasn’t healed.
Jay Cheel directed BEAUTY DAY, which screened at SFF 2013.
