Our Community Partners

Salem Film Fest is a festival of international documentary films supported by local sponsors. We are proud to be recognized internationally as an important showcase for new work.

Community Partners are not-for-profit organizations with a cause connected to issues raised in our Salem Film Fest documentary roster. Community Partners can either promote the Fest as a whole, or a specific film they choose from our roster. We do not seek financial donations from our Community Partners. The purpose of this Community Partner relationship is two-fold: to help SFF build our audience, and to make local connections for our audiences to be able to act/become aware of the related topic.

Please note, for-profit companies are not eligible for this arrangement and are encouraged to connect with our Fest Director Joe Ferrari via email regarding sponsorship opportunities.

Community Partner agrees to

• Including Salem Film Fest in your newsletter with a link to our ticketing page: salemfilmfest.com/films and cc info@salemfilmfest.com, AND/OR

• Posting about the festival on social media, tagging us:

  • Facebook salemfilmfest

  • Instagram _salemfilmfest

  If you have other preferred ways to reach your audience, we’re happy to explore alternative outreach methods with you!

Salem Film Fest agrees to

• Provide Community Partner with a brief blurb about the Fest and any particular film the Partner has chosen to promote, plus a film image if requested.

• List name or logo of Community Partner with a hyperlink on SalemFilmFest.com.

• Do a general social media post: “We proudly recognize our Community Partners for their outreach. Please visit SalemFilmFest.com for a list of these fantastic organizations.”

• Provide each Community Partner with free tickets for SFF 2025 film screenings.
