Keeping it Reel is a showcase for Massachusetts high school students to present their short documentary and experimental documentary films. Due to Covid, we are currently planning the 16th edition of Salem Film Fest as a hybrid in-person/virtual festival, running Thursday, March 23 - Sunday, April 2, 2023. Assuming it is safe to gather in-person, during the first weekend of the festival (Saturday, March 25 or Sunday, March 26) we will host a screening of the films selected for the Keeping it Reel program, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers in attendance.
